Gal Gadot shot to fame with her second appearance as the superheroine, Wonder Woman, in the DCEU stand-alone movie. The Israeli actress is making the best use of this opportunity to inspire young women and inspire others to take up philanthropic causes. Adding another one to the list, the actress visited a children’s hospital in her Wonder Woman costume.
The cast and crew were filming for scenes in Washington DC, when Gal took some time out from the hectic schedule to visit Inova Children’s Hospital in Virginia on July 7. The pictures of the actress, in full costume, with children and staffers, are going viral on the internet. Dr. Lucas Collazo, who works at the pediatric ward of the hospital, shared a picture and wrote, “Thank you @GalGadot for visiting us @InovaHealth Children’s Hospital. You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it…and so did the staff. #wonderwoman84,” (ALSO READ: Gal Gadot and Chris Pine’s flirty chemistry on the sets of Wonder Woman 1984 is unmissable – watch video)

The title of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman sequel was released in early June. Which was followed by the release of the first three official stills from it, thus revealing crucial plot details? Firstly, the movie is called Wonder Woman 1984, confirming that it will be set during the Cold War. Then the first official image revealed that Chris Pine will rejoin the cast. We are still wondering as to how the character, Steve Trevor, will be brought back to life given the fact that he had died during the climax of the first film.
Wonder Woman 1984 marks the return of director Patty Jenkins. She is being paid a hefty amount of $9 million, which will make her the highest paid female director in the world. Her remuneration for the first film was only $1, as per a report by Variety.
Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theatres on November 1, 2019.
